7. Extremely rare New England Glass Company magnum floral sheaf upright bouquet weight, a dimensional portrayal containing a blue double clematis, with a blue and pink millefiori center, and a yellow double clematis, with a white millefiori center, crowning a bouquet with variegated green leaves and clematis blossoms in amethyst, yellow, white and pink. A large ruby bud peeks from beneath green leaves on one side of the arrangement. The arrangement is set on a white double-swirl latticinio ground. "These superb three-dimensional magnum beauties rank among the best of all paperweights produced by the New England Glass Company, and, in fact, the best produced by any glassworks."–The Art of the Paperweight–The Boston & Sandwich and New England Glass Companies. 8. Saint Louis faceted upright bouquet weight, a dimensional bouquet, containing a central complex multi-tiered peach blossom with a yellow matchead center, encircled by a white blossom with a yellow matchead center, a Persian blue blossom with a yellow matchead center, a Persian blue, powder blue and white cog cane and a ruby and white cog cane. The flowers are nestled inside a bed of spring green leaves, with a tapered stem that extends down to a star-cut ground, inside a white lace filigree torsade. Allover geometric faceting. Minor chips in the dome. See side view p. 53. Diameter 2 3/4". $3250—3750

9. Saint Louis upright bouquet weight. A white clematis, with a complex cog cane center, tops a gathering of four lampwork blossoms, in salmon, yellow, cobalt blue and white, on a bed of light green leaves with a three-dimensional stem that extends down to a star-cut ground, inside a blue and white lace filigree torsade. Six side facets. See side view p. 53. Diameter 2 3/4". $3000—3500

10. Rare Saint Louis upright bouquet handcooler, the dimensional bouquet, crowned with a white-spotted ruby blossom containing a yellow matchead center, surrounded by a pink-striped white blossom, two black-striped butterscotch blossoms, two blue-striped white blossoms and two pink blossoms with yellow matchead centers. An interesting blossom on the bottom of the bouquet is formed from an unusual blue and white millefiori cane. The design is contained in a crystal egg with allover circular facets that multiply the flowers. "An interesting example is the handcooler, designed for use in a society that frowned upon a lady offering a warm hand to a gentleman–a sign of passion…They also may contain lampwork flowers, which are arranged singly, back-to-back, or in a dainty upright bouquet."–Glass Paperweights in The Art Institute of Chicago. Saint Louis lace ground nosegay garland weight with four complex cane blossoms, including complex cog and star canes, in Persian blue, sulphur yellow, salmon and white, inside a tiara of spring green leaves. The flower decorates a white lace ground, inside a garland of chartreuse, powder blue and white cog/star canes, alternating with Persian blue, white and salmon star canes. 12. Saint Louis amber ground nosegay weight, also known as a flat bouquet, with four complex millefiori cane flowers, in Persian blue, salmon, powder blue, ruby and white, on a stalk inside a tiara of spring green leaves, over an amber-flashed ground. Geometric cutting on the top with eight circular side facets. Chip on the base edge. Diameter 2 1/16". $500—700
